Church Overview
About This Church
House of Christ Church was established in 2018 in Aindara with a primary focus on serving the Kurdish community. Over time, the church has experienced significant growth, and its mission has expanded beyond its original scope. Today, all serving families are from Kurdish backgrounds, actively ministering not only to the Kurdish people but also to diverse minority groups and individuals from various nations. As a result of this continued growth and outreach, the church has extended its ministry by opening an additional branch in Zahlé and South Lebanon, further strengthening its commitment to serving a wider community.
Mission
Our Mission At House of Christ Church, our mission is to faithfully disciple and serve individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, nurturing spiritual growth and Christ-centered living within our communities. Through our Aindara congregation, which includes approximately 150 regular attendees—primarily Syrian refugees from Kurdish, Druze, Alawite, and Sunni Arab backgrounds—we are committed to ongoing pastoral care and discipleship. In addition to our weekly Friday worship gatherings, we provide consistent follow-up through home church groups, creating opportunities for deeper engagement with Scripture and practical application in daily life. This mission extends to our Zahlé branch, where we serve more than 100 families through weekly Sunday services and regular pastoral support, as well as to families in South Lebanon who are followed closely and cared for on an ongoing basis. A central focus of our ministry is the next generation. Our weekly youth gatherings bring together more than 70 young people, guided by a dedicated team of 12 leaders. We are committed to equipping and empowering them to become future leaders by supporting their spiritual formation, educational development, and personal growth. In addition, our seminary program, led by Pastor Grace, provides in-depth theological training alongside foundational education in English and mathematics, equipping students for both ministry and life. We also extend our outreach to underserved communities through tent schools for refugee children who have not previously had access to education. In these settings, we provide instruction in biblical teaching and worship, as well as English and Arabic language education, offering hope and opportunity for a transformed future.
Vision
Our Vision Our vision is to advance the Gospel along the “Isaiah Highway,” extending our ministry into Syria, Iraq, and Iran. We have already begun establishing small groups in Afrin and Aleppo, with a long-term commitment to planting churches and developing sustainable ministry centers in these regions. We seek to serve the Kurdish community in Afrin holistically—spiritually, intellectually, and practically—by nurturing faith, strengthening mental and emotional well-being, and cultivating individual talents through the development of technical and vocational training programs. At the same time, we remain firmly rooted in Lebanon as a base for outreach to all nations, providing a place where individuals can come to know Christ, experience His salvation, and grow as disciples through structured teaching and seminary training.
