We are committed to restoring dignity, strengthening resilience, and empowering lives through holistic programs that address emotional, social, and physical well-being. "

Mission

Is to inspire hope and a source of healing to individuals and communities facing challenges and hardships, focusing on the most vulnerable. We are committed to restoring dignity, strengthening resilience, and empowering lives through holistic programs that address emotional, social, and physical wellbeing. Our beneficiaries are primarily families with Special Needs children, the physically disabled and the impaired, vulnerable women and elderly. We strive to create safe spaces where every person can be empowered and feel valued. We also aim to provide relief to individuals affected by war and respond to disasters. Guided by empathy, filled with compassion and driven to implement our faith into action, we believe in being catalysts of change where hope is not just a word—but a lived reality.

Vision

To envision a compassionate and inclusive Lebanon where every individual—regardless of background or circumstance—has the opportunity to heal, grow, and live with dignity. Through community-driven initiatives, we aim to break cycles of poverty, trauma, and marginalization by fostering resilience, empowering the vulnerable, and nurturing a culture of hope and solidarity.

WAM (What About Me?)

Is an emotional wellbeing program that was launched as a response to the deep emotional needs witnessed among children and adolescents. Focused on overcoming Adverse Life Experiences (ALE) and building resilience through a tailored curriculum. The program provides a safe space for adolescents to express themselves, process their experiences, and develop healthy emotional coping skills. In its first pilot year, WAM was initially implemented in an underprivileged school with 65 children of challenging situations and backgrounds, in the suburbs of Beirut. This program was also developed with a spiritual version and implemented in partnership with the teens ministry at the Beirut church of Christ. Our goal moving forward, is to roll WAM into more schools, empowering a new generation to grow with resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being.

STITCHED

STITCHED is our sustainable knitting & crocheting program that began in 2023, designed to empower women by equipping them with valuable skills that can generate income and foster independence. Through this initiative, women learn the art of knitting and crocheting and are supported in turning their craft into a sustainable source of livelihood. Beyond skill-building, STITCHED also creates a community of encouragement and purpose, where women uplift one another and gain confidence in their abilities. The proceeds from the program are used to support children and individuals with special needs by funding their therapy sessions. Through STITCHED, we not only empower women but also extend our impact to those who need specialized care and support.

HOPE Volunteer Corps (HVC)

In partnership with our international organizations, HOPEww Lebanon hosted programs that provided volunteering opportunities for individuals from around the world. Volunteers have contributed and served to support our local programs and have been introduced to the Lebanese culture and community. Those trips bonded volunteers from different nationalities and were a means of empowerment and genuine service. - Community Service & Outreach With the aim of involving and creating opportunities for volunteers of all ages to serve their community, HOPEww Lebanon plans a community service activity once a month, whose beneficiaries vary from youngsters to elderly. To ensure inclusivity, children with Special Needs are involved in special fun activities fand raising awareness for their families. Special Needs kids are frequently invited to get entertained at playgrounds while enjoying hearty snacks. In addition, elderly homes visits are conducted to provide care and support to senior members of the community who often face loneliness and isolation. Through regular visits, our team offers companionship, emotional support, and meaningful interaction, ensuring that the elderly feel valued and connected. We spend time listening to their stories, engaging in conversations, and participating in light activities that bring joy and comfort. This program focuses on building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging, reminding our elders that they are appreciated, seen and heard.
